Transcode MP3 audio into genuine FLAC files on your device. Use the waveform for a time selection where relevant. Effects operate on real decoded audio samples.
Processing runs in a local worker. The result is checked for its actual container, codec and decodability before a download appears. Compare at a similar playback volume.
Local single-thread WebAssembly engine; first use downloads about 31 MiB of static engine assets. No audio is uploaded.
Up to 32 MiB total input, 10 minutes, mono/stereo, and a 96 MiB decoded float-memory budget (32 MiB on reported low-memory devices). Actual limits can be lower. No DRM or encrypted containers.
Browser and format-variant coverage is limited. Review the result before deleting an original. Lossy-to-lossless conversion cannot recover missing detail.
No. The host delivers code and WebAssembly assets. Audio data, filenames, metadata, processing settings and microphone recordings are not sent to a conversion server or analytics.
Results depend on the original. Converting MP3 to WAV or FLAC does not restore lost detail. Noise reduction cannot reliably separate overlapping speakers, and strong effects can introduce artifacts. Keep your original.
Bitrate, codec, channels, sample rate and effect settings change the result. Lossless formats can be much larger than compressed inputs. Lossy codecs may add encoder padding or overshoot a PCM peak ceiling.
