How it works
Choose up to 12 files. Folio recognizes supported formats and finds compatible tools. Select a file or a compatible group, choose an action, and download the result. Editors receive files through client-side navigation.
Supported categories
PDF, supported raster and SVG images, common audio containers, MP4/MOV/WebM video, SRT/WebVTT subtitles and supported document containers. Detection does not guarantee every codec or document variant is processable. Experimental actions show their limitations before use.
Questions, answered
Are files sent to Folio?
No. Detection and processing run locally. The site and local processing assets load from hosting, but your file contents, filenames and metadata are not sent to a conversion service.
Can I continue with a converted result?
Choose “Use result for next action” to detect it again and find compatible operations. Keep the original when making repeated lossy conversions.
What happens on refresh?
Your selection exists only in browser memory. Refreshing or closing the page clears it. Use Clear file session to release the selection sooner.
Why are some actions missing?
Only implemented tools compatible with every selected file and current limits appear. Select one file for more actions. Video frame tools require a playback check; stream-copy operations require codec inspection. Research tools remain in the main directory.
